After 1945, the domestic architectural scene experienced an internationalization driven by the occupying powers. The exhibition explores the cultural democratisation of Austria after the Second World War in four sections. The influences of the Allies on Austrian architecture are highlighted in chapters such as "Great Britain's contribution to social development" or "France's contribution to the development of an elite".
