The city beach Santa Lucia is the starting point for a cinematic expedition into the city on Mount Vesuvius and into the personal stories of some of its inhabitants: the artist Betty Bee, the young bookseller Giancarlo and his book-loving sweetheart Ilaria, the sculptor Emanuele, the street artist Angelo and his partner Pina. Interwoven with songs and impressions of the city, their conversation paints a vivid, loving portrait of Naples, which has far more to offer than crumbling facades, littered streets and a high crime rate. Worth seeing.
