Goldenes Quartier, a luxury shopping area in Vienna’s historic Old City, opened 26 Nov. with its first boutique, Louis Vuitton (LV). The most valuable luxury company in the world, the elegant and tasteful decor in Vienna’s LV boutique is described as, "one of the best Louis Vuitton stores," by the Louis Vuitton VP, Christopher Zanardi-Landi.

The Quartier is between Tuchlauben, Bognergasse and Am Hof and will avail of the nearby Bognergasse and Seitzergasse, which are being converted to pedestrian zones by the end of next year.

It also features a flagship Emporio Armani store, and will eventually grow to more than 10,000 m2 of retail space in 2013. By 2014 Goldenes Quartier will have Prada, Yves Saint Laurent, Church’s English Shoes, and the Kashmir boutique Brunello Cucinelli.
