Ulrich Ghezzi

In his picture series "Men in the Cities", the US artist drew falling men from 1980 onwards, anticipating the rise and fall of the yuppie generation. Born in 1953, the New Yorker remained faithful to the charcoal pencil and photorealism. His large-format works on paper are based on images with strong contrasts of light and dark, often including animal motifs.
