Von Mäusen und Menschen

A play based on John Steinbeck's classic novel about the relentless law of the jungle: Lennie and George, an unlikely pair of migrant workers, travel through rural California. In the shadow of the Great Depression, they dream of a piece of land that belongs to them. But the American Dream is already reserved for others, and George can't keep Lennie from getting into trouble again and again. The evening loves the aesthetics of the lonely cowboy. Figures such as Slim, Carlson and Curly stride casually across the farm - real men. Unfortunately, the production does not break with these clichés.
