Familie Lässig
(A) - "Im Herzen des Kommerz"-Tour

Rideo
The band name is chosen coquettishly, but the name Familie Lässig is not entirely unjustified. Originally initiated in 2014 by entertainment all-rounder (and singer) Manuel Rubey as a one-off joke for a charity concert, it grew into an all-star cover band featuring Gunkl, Gerald Votava and drummer and bandleader Cathi Priemer, among others, under the banner of the good, the beautiful and the nice, driven less by the desire for success than by the fun of it. Despite this, or perhaps because of it, the Lässig Family usually played to sold-out audiences. At some point the songwriter Clara Luzia joined them, their own songs were written - and then the sextet actually had their first album. "Im Herzen des Kommerz" is its name, filled with German-language pop, amiable, catchy and deliberately free of brittle moments. After all, the Lässig family is following a mission: "We can't leave the mainstream completely to the folk rock'n'rollers, and we can't leave the opinion leadership to the right-wingers. We have to get into the heart of commerce."
