Mahler, live

Martin Schläpfer's first production for the Vienna State Ballet. Set to Gustav Mahler's Symphony No. 4, "4" brings almost the entire ensemble of 90 dancers to the stage in a world theater about the longings and forlornnesses, dreams and dislocations of modern man. The evening opens with a work that has made history: Hans van Manen's video ballet "Live".
