Rock Me Amadeus - Das Falco Musical

After "Falco. A Cyber Show" by Paulus Manker and the German productions "Falco meets Amadeus" and "Falco - Das Musical", "Rock Me Amadeus - Das Falco Musical" is already the fourth musical theater about Austria's most famous pop singer. The work by Vereinigte Bühnen Wien, which premiered in the fall of 2023, tells the biography of Hans Hölzel in a simplified form appropriate to the medium. As a jukebox musical, it strings together hit after hit, but commits an unforgivable sacrilege: Falco's beloved Dutch producers have written four new songs for the play. One is unnecessary, but doesn't matter, three are subterranean pop kitsch.
