No matter what their music may sound like, women apparently have to look cute in Japanese pop. This applies to garage rock (The 5.6.7.8's), alternative (Shonen Knife) - and apparently also to raging metal, as the four women of Broken By The Scream have been playing since 2016. Grunts and roars collide productively with sweet harmonies and girl group vocal passages, speed frenzy and sweetness go hand in hand without a hitch. Support: Souf(f)re.
