The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain

The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain, in its current line-up a septet of ukuleles in various registers, was originally formed in 1985 for a one-off performance, but has since delighted audiences in their millions through tours of Europe, America and Asia, not to mention its numerous television appearances worldwide. The formation does not shy away from any musical fun and draws from Tchaikovsky as well as Isaac Hayes, David Bowie or Kate Bush in order to win melodies for its typical Hawaiian sound.
