Augusto Góngora, Chilean journalist and prominent chronicler of the crimes of the Pinochet regime, and Paulina Urrutia, renowned actress and later Minister of Culture, have been a couple for decades. Augusto was diagnosed with Alzheimer's eight years ago, and now they both have to deal with the progressive loss of his physical and mental strength. "Director Maite Alberdi accompanies the couple over the years in her touching documentary. She combines the rich family archive with Augusto's own TV work, interweaving individual and collective memories. Heartbreaking and tender at the same time" (Martin Nguyen).
