Antonio (great: Milani's regular actor Antonio Albanese) lives for the stage, but unfortunately he is often unemployed. One day, a friend offers him a job: He is to lead a theater workshop in Velletri prison. Antonio accepts, but only five prisoners show up for the workshop. So he decides to rehearse the play with which he himself made his debut years earlier, Beckett's "Waiting for Godot".
