Florence loves David and finally wants to introduce him to her father, the successful banker Guillaume. But David has doubts about the relationship and would prefer to set Florence up with his friend Willy. When they all meet in a restaurant in the middle of nowhere, things take an unexpected turn. Dupieux's ironic comedy, designed as a twisted film within a film (the four protagonists initially appear as actors shooting a romantic comedy), has a prominent cast including Léa Seydoux, Louis Garrel and Vincent Lindon.
