For a day and a night, the film follows the versatile Monsieur Oscar (Denis Lavant), whose everyday life unfolds as an uninterrupted sequence of various commissions and identities. Sometimes he has to kill a banker, sometimes he has to beg as an old woman in downtown Paris, sometimes he has to pick up a daughter from a party. The audience and clients of the missions remain in the dark. On the way, Oscar's limousine crosses widely scattered areas of film history: grotesque, musical, thriller, melo. Crazy, and worth seeing.
