Already in 1969 Zilnik prophetically told of the downfall of a whole country: The female main character is called Jugoslavija, her violent death has an almost surrealistic topicality. Officially, the allegory about the failure of the socialist revolution was not at all liked - at the Berlinale, however, Zilnik's feature film debut was awarded the Golden Bear.
