Teenager Aiden and his sister Mia spend the Christmas holidays in the secluded family lodge together with Grace, her father's new girlfriend. The children blame her for her mother's misfortune and detest the young woman, who herself is marked by a traumatic past. Father has to return to town and a snowstorm cuts the lodge off from the outside world...
