After living in Paris for many years, Selma returns to her native Tunis as a trained psychoanalyst. Her plans to open a practice here are met with skepticism, but also a great deal of interest. Based on numerous characters and their problems, director Labidi paints a melancholy-comic picture of post-revolutionary Tunisian society in her feature film debut.
