Jelena wanted to celebrate the Bibijako Djive one last time, so she got on the bus from Vienna-Erdberg to Boljevac, her hometown in Serbia. There she celebrated. And there she died the next day. Her death leaves her daughters Snežana, Melisa and Tanja with many question marks. "Bibi Sara Kali" was created from an idea by Viennese actress Simonida Selimović. From personal experiences, the memory of centuries of Rom*nja history and current incidents, the author Ibrahim Amir, the ensemble and team have developed a tragicomedy that finds in Bibi Sara Kali a goddess of resistance and survival. One of the special features of this production is that it is told from the perspective of Roma. (Press release)
