19-year-old Bella (Sofia Kappel) is standing at the L.A. airport, standing shot by the U.S. Immigration Service: Business or Pleasure? "Pleasure" is the hesitant answer and title of Swedish Ninja Thyberg's feature debut, based on her short film of the same name. The subject was and is a look at the darker side of the porn industry. In sterile images, the film works its way up Bella's ascent, framing her ambition not doggedly, but as an escape from a monotony - true motives remain unclear. (Martin Nguyen)
