"On their way to Pakistan in the spring of 2020, two German globetrotters are thwarted by the Corona pandemic and are forced to stay in a Nepalese mountain village for several months. At first they are eyed suspiciously by the locals as potential carriers of the virus, but the travelers become more and more involved in the village community and learn about their deprived everyday life. Cinematically unspectacular travel documentary, at times with spiritually tinged reflections, which, for all its sympathy for the fate of the Nepalese hosts, ultimately comes across more as a trip of self-awareness."
