Ireland, 1923. On the remote island of Inisherin, good-natured dolt Pádraic (fabulous: Colin Farrell) no longer understands the world. His best friend Colm (Brendan Gleeson), existential thinker and violinist, decides to abruptly end their lifelong friendship: "I just don't like you anymore." With the help of his book-loving sister Siobhán (Kerry Condon), the confused Pádraic tries to win back his friend. Whether he succeeds is doubtful, but watching the cranky characters do so is tragic and extremely funny pleasure at the same time. (Martin Nguyen)
