In the 1980s at the beginning of the Mitterand era, two brothers run a pirate radio station in Brittany. Both love the same music and the same woman. The older, more agile of the two slips more and more into drug excesses and conflicts with his father, while the younger, more talented brother starts his military service in West Berlin and gets the chance to prove himself at the radio station of the British troops. As a declaration of love to a high phase of European pop music, the carefully and originally designed film unfolds its potential, while the tragic family story remains rather superficial.
