Asger and his sister Petra have recently lost their father, and this is the first time they are spending Halloween without him - together with the neighbors as usual. Their daughter Esther was friends with Asger, but now wants nothing more to do with him. When Petra is kidnapped by thieves, Asger asks Esther for help. A trick - the story is told afterwards as a presentation in class - removes too much tension from the movie. (From 8 years)
