In their childhood in Seoul, Nora and Hae Sung were inseparable friends. Until Nora's family emigrated to Toronto and the two twelve-year-olds lost sight of each other. 20 years later, Hae Sung decides to visit his childhood friend for a few days in New York. Nora lives there as an aspiring writer and is happily married. The reunion confronts the former soulmates with complex questions about love, fate and the decisions that make up a life.
