Workaholic Vincent (Lambert Wilson) breaks down in his convertible on a mountain road and is taken in by the solitary Pierre (Grégory Gadebois), who lives alone as a self-supporter on a farm in a dreamlike setting. "Éric Besnard's film takes us from the exhaustion of the modern high-performance person, through the themes of self-deception and self-knowledge, which succeeds with the help of friendship, to the question of where the happy medium lies between contemplative withdrawal and professional use of one's talents.
