Experimental-style documentary about three Jordanian women who have had traumatizing experiences of violence - rape, assault and imprisonment. One woman was blinded by her husband; another says that although she loves her children, they would be better off if she killed them. In the shelter of their apartments, where the women have retreated from the violence of the outside world, they are carefully observed and interviewed. Director Helin Çelik and cinematographer Raquel Fernández Núñez outline their post-traumatic situation in impressive, poetic film images, including extreme close-ups.
