Joan Baez - I Am A Noise

Albert Baez / Alamode Film
Portrait of the folk singer and guitarist, civil rights activist, pacifist and environmental activist Joan Baez, born in New York in 1941. The biopic begins with the current circumstances of the artist in farewell mode and then looks back on 60 years of U.S. folk and social history, but also addresses many personal issues, such as Baez's relationship with Bob Dylan, family abuse and the singer's psychological problems. Baez appears as a microcosm of the counterculture: "I'm not very good at one-on-one relationships, I'm great with one-on-two thousand."
