Depressed everyman Ray learns that his wife is cheating on him with his brother. He is then mistaken for a hitman in the titular Texas hometown and becomes entangled in increasingly absurd plot twists. Shane Atkinson's directorial debut is a dry-as-dust neo-western small-town crime comedy populated by hapless private detectives, dim-witted cops and sarcastic strippers. "The pulpy scenario doesn't offer many surprises, but writer-director Atkinson realizes it in such a way that you can't help but enjoy the juicy crime material" (Deep Focus).
