Sophia comes from a wealthy family, is a philosophy professor - and is bored with her long-term partner. Then she meets Sylvain, a handyman who is renovating her weekend home. She starts a relationship with him; the fact that he can't hold a candle to her intellectually is all the more appealing to her. When she introduces him to her friends, she begins to feel uneasy. Could career and education actually play a bigger role in love than we want to admit? A humorous examination of the contradictory desires of an intellectual woman.
