Faruk Šego, a celebrated writer in his youth in Bosnia and a refugee from the largely forgotten Yugoslavian war, has recently been threatened with deportation unless he can prove that he is making an important contribution to Austrian culture. His hopes are pinned on a rather desolate off-theatre troupe, which is supposed to produce one of his youthful works. Faruk's return to his beginnings leads him to realize what is really important in life. (Press release)
